bww - lady in the lake

 . . . or ocean?  It's definitely a different kind of picture.

Technically it is the lake. . .

Kisses little sister will be a senior this year and I have been working on some shots from part of her senior session.

This is one of those shots that probably would not make it to the final cut, but I love the wind in her hair and blowing her dress.  It is an unusual shot . . . why doesn't it make the cut?  Mainly because it's too dark and because it looks like she only has one leg.  She has both of her legs, and I just think it is too distracting that one of them is hidden at this angle.

Very different from the original . . .

What do you think?

  1. I love the look of this in black and white. I do agree about the "missing" leg though - it is a bit distracting.

  2. Thanks Kaeley! Hope you are having a fabulous summer!

  3. I like the B&W, but the first one is very nice, too! I like the foggy look.

  4. This the first time in months to link up due to illness and surgery. It's taking me awhile to get back into the blog hop groove, but here I am at last. :D

I get what you're saying about being distracted, but I think it's rather nice still either in color or b&w. Gr8 job!

  5. Oh! I like it! I like it a lot! I think I like the color one best though. I love the sky.

  6. Cathy, I hope you are feeling better! Glad to have you back!

Thanks so much for leaving a comment . . .I just love them!!
