duum duum da dum dum da dum da dum da dum . . . .

(*overly dramatic funeral march music*)

Can you hear it?  LOL!  It's less than one week to the ending of GFC (Google Friend Connect).  Are you ready?  July 1, 2013 GFC will be shutting down.  In actuality it is the old out-dated Google Reader that is being discontinued . . . and assumptions have been made that GFC will follow soon after.

So what?

So GFC is shutting down, so you will be forced into a love-hate relationship with google+?  It's not that bad, right?  (Come on, google practically owns the internet . . . )

I think this is slightly over-hyped by the blogging world.  But in case you were wondering how you can keep your GFC readers hip-deep in your posts after the "apocalypse" here is an interesting article for you to read.

Elle explains all the reasons why she has switched to blog lovin' for her blog feed.  There are a lot of benefits to blog lovin' and I really love their format.

The most reliable way to make sure you don't miss a single "black and white Wednesday" or update on Tootsie Roll is to have my posts delivered to your inbox.  On the side bar (right over there  ----> ) are lots of options to stay in the loop, but email is the most fool-proof.  Unless the government bans emails, I think we will be okay.

So stay connected with me.  I promise now that I am back from Florida I will be a little better blogger buddy.  Thanks for reading!
