black and white Wednesdays - Itty Bitty is FOUR

Updated: 2/18/2013

Congratulations to Lori for the second week in a row!  Our judges were truly overwhelmed by your black and white photograph!

2nd Place  - A two-way tie!

3rd Place

Itty Bitty's 4th birthday party was this past weekend.  So glad we went and got to see her open all her presents.  It's really great being the Gigi too.  Getting to enjoy watching her play on the swing and not have to worry about anything, like cake and ice cream or presents or decorations.

If you are a parent with small children, I highly recommend holding out for the g-kids.  It's worth it!!

The first thing she said when we got to her house, "Gigi, Gigi it's my birthday!!"

Then she told me I had to push her "higher than the fence" on the swing.  LOL!  Apparently I wasn't doing it right and her "MeMommy" (her other grandma) had to show me the "right way".  Too funny.

Itty Bitty's present for another great-grandma.  Seriously, can't believe she is FOUR already!

Little Bit was in a really good mood when she woke up from her nap.  Isn't she precious?

I know, I know, you want to link up your black and white shots for this week's contest.  You can't blame a great-grandma for wanting to show off her precious little gg-babies, can you?

Happy Birthday Itty Bitty!  We love you!

  1. Hello. I have submitted a photo that I haven't posted on my blog yet. So if you click my entry, it will direct you to my photobucket account. The title of my entry is My two little cousins. It will be posted on my blog soon.

I'm Cherry of Notes & Kisses.

    1. Thanks Cherry. You know the contest is open all the way to Sunday night (and sometimes Monday morning, LOL) So you have plenty of time to enter your photo after it's posted to your blog.

  2. They are too adorable! I totally second holding out for grandkids, my granddaughter will be 4 this year too, I just love that age.

    1. Four is a great age. Since most of my grandchildren don't live near me I really am enjoying these great-grandchildren.

  3. I love photos of children! I took what seemed like tons when ours were small (pre-digital years) and last year I began scanning my negatives into our computer so I can preserve these memories forever. Thanks for sharing & hosting WW!

  4. Adorable! Wow! Happy Birthday ~ great photos ~

Haven't any grand kids here yet, but, Lord willing, someday, and that I'm so looking forward to!! This is my first time entering B/W Wednesday with you ... it's been awhile since I've been on my blog, but life happens, and I'm working at getting back into the swing of things! Love your site ... so cute, and I love that you share you faith, too! You are so right ... with Jesus we sure do have Christmas every day!! It's good too meet you, and I look forward to more B&W Wednesday's ahead! Blessings to you and yours! - Deborah xoxo

  7. Happy Birthday to her! How fun :)

  8. I loved the story and the photos! Congrats! I might have forgotten to link my 1camera1mom photo. Since I haven't updated, I'll link it for the 20th - Amanda running out of the sea at Boulders Beach. And if it was already in a competition, then please just remove it from your link. Oh, and the winning photos are wonderful!

  9. Oh Sandi .. I just now saw that my image came in 3rd for this last week!! What a blessing!! Thank you so much! I'm still not quite sure if I'm doing this right ... I just dropped back in for this weeks B/W Wednesday and saw this update from Monday here on this post. Again, thank you, and enjoy the rest of the week!! Blessings xoxo
