I am especially proud of this shot. I know it's not the best photograph I have ever taken, but I'm still proud of it. We were riding about 55 MPH, and I had the camera pointed backwards resting on my shoulder, looking through the view finder.
This is essentially the equivalent of shooting a gun backwards over your shoulder using a mirror to aim.
Several tries (and a couple of shots where the bikes were completely out of the frame) and I finally captured this great shot.
That's my good friend Hollywood in front.
We rode to Hot Springs and ate lunch. Then we just goofed off for a while shopping and eating dessert, of course.
What an absolutely gorgeous day to ride.
Hang loose! Tune in tomorrow for the black and white Wednesday photo contest and don't forget to tell your friends.
