Merry Christmas!

Good morning! Merry Christmas to all of you out there on-line today!  I am quite sure that I am busy today. But I couldn’t let all my wonderful readers down and not have a Christmas post today!

Here are some lovely Christmas shots from the weekend when we went to the Natchitoches, LA Christmas Festival of Lights.

I had never been before, and if you ever have the chance to go . . .don’t miss it!  This is the house where they filmed the movie Steel Magnolias.

Front street was covered in lights.

There were snow machines on top of the street lights so it looked like it was snowing.  It was about 55 degrees that night, but how cool is this that it looks like it’s snowing?

The absolute entire river was lined with Christmas lights.  You can see the reflection in the water, which makes it look like DOUBLE the lights!

It was truly amazing!

AND

THEN

the fireworks show started!!

. . .as if the lights weren’t enough!  There was a 20 minute fireworks display that would be the envy of any July 4th celebration!

Truly spectacular!

Merry Christmas everyone!

May your family be blessed and feel the warmth of God’s love today and for the New Year!

  1. Such lovely lights! We did not go to the James Island Festival of Lights this year. They never change so, after a few years, it just gets old. But we did drive around our town and see some great ones! The lovelies are still here until tomorrow and Wednesday. I don't want to see them go.
