You may remember the rainbow picture from last week’s Black and White Wednesdays post. Well, the story behind this shot is a little funny.
Do you ever hate it when your husband is right? Not that you are mad for days, but that it gets under your skin. I need to remember that he is right a lot of times, and not be so stubborn. At least that’s what I think God is trying to teach me. . .
We have been walking after work, and I really want to get a shot of the cows on our road, when they are close enough to the fence that I can really see them. But it seems like every time I take my camera they are gone and every time I forget my camera (or leave it charging in the house), THERE THEY ARE! UGH!!
Santa, suggested that I take the camera with me every time. It is bulky, but he’s right, you just never know when you are going to be able to shoot something amazing.
Well, we zip off to Texarkana Sunday afternoon, to get some walking shoes at the mall (yeah, the closest mall to us is 45 minutes away and in another state). He asks, are you bringing the camera? I said, “No, we aren’t going to be gone long and I don’t feel like lugging it around.” He said, “Okay, but you never know you might see something amazing and wish you had brought it.”
AND . . . of course, he was right! OMGEE!
On the way home . . . a HUGE rainbow! And by the time we get home, it is barely visible! So I am trying to do better about carrying it with me all the time. Because you never know when you are going to be able to capture something. . . . like this!
Which is pretty much what I feel like!
