Love

The Mud Bowl is always so much fun, but it wouldn’t be as much fun without  . . .

LOVE
"Let me give you a new command: Love one another. In the same way I loved you, you love one another. This is how everyone will recognize that you are my disciples—when they see the love you have for each other." John 13:34-35

Showing kindness to the fallen.

Lending a hand after you’ve fallen too.

God’s love was everywhere . . .and you can tell by the attitudes of the students and adults playing in the mud.  Without this amazing love, there would have been some pretty mad individuals.

I guess that’s the difference between having a free-for-all in the mud with God’s people and having a brawl in the mud with a bunch of crazy people.  The love makes all the difference.

. . . even if it’s helping your friend get IN the mud.

  1. Sorry I already posted this before I knew the questions but here are my responses.

    This week’s statements:

    1. When I was younger, I always wanted . . .
to be a physical therapist and help little kids learn to walk again. BUT, I got over it when I found out little kids aren't the only ones learning to walk again.

    2. I don’t remember the last time I . . .
bungee jumped! Because I never have!! LOL!

    3. During . . .
    church
    when the . . .
    my phone
goes off, all I want to do is. . .
hide under my pew, I just can't seem to remember to put it on silent.

    4. The. . .
    musty smell
    of. . .
    a basement
    reminds me of . . .
the washroom at my grandma's house.

  3. I wouldn't bungee jump for a million dollars. Seriously. No way! I almost always remember to turn off my cell but Hubs doesn't. But worse was the day, years ago, when he fell asleep in church and started SNORING. That was so embarrassing!

I'm posting about Murder in the Dark tomorrow.
