I’ve been busy!

I know what you must be thinking . . .

“How busy have you really been?  You don’t write a word for months and now this?  I’ve been busy!”  Psh!

Really?

No, seriously.

Let’s just start with the past 2 weeks.  Prom was the 16th.

Instead of driving to Texarkana or some other place to eat.  We grilled steaks and served Reese’s and her date on the gazebo at our house after they had their pictures made at the garden.

We left the NEXT MORNING on the motorcycle headed to Florida!

We had one minor set back.  A sheet of plastic from the back of an 18-wheeler got wrapped around the back wheel of the bike, but we were able to get it fixed and get back on the road in record time.  Santa is a heck of a one-man pit crew!

The rest of the trip was pretty great.  Beautiful weather for the ENTIRE time.

The trip there and back was over 2500 miles.  All on the back of a motorcycle!  It was so exciting!

We stayed in Florida visiting the g-kids and girls for over  week!  It was soo good to see Lollipop and Tootsie Pop, you have no idea how much I have missed them.

I went to Sugar Pop and Clark Bar’s school for a Silly Sock Reading Party!  Clark Bar won a bingo game because they drew his name!

If you can imagine all that fun AND they had family pictures made the morning before the party!

Introducing some new family members in Lollipop’s group.  Sugar Daddy is Clark Bar and Sugar Pop’s real dad.  AND the little blonde boy is Swedish Fish!

So glad I was there and got to shoot some photos of my own.  I’m excited to see the ones the “real” photographer took.

uh . . . so yeah . . . busy!

AND Graduation is less than 3 weeks away . . . to be continued.

  2. Wow, maybe busy is an understatement?! We have a graduation too! Another college one. And then, we just have one more in two years and we'll be finished with college graduations! Until they finish their masters degrees. YIKES! LOL
