Praising God with a Loud Voice

Well, today I am BACK!  I was in Little Rock yesterday getting another epidural injection in my neck.  It was very painful, because I did not take the pain medicine they had available.  Hydrocodone and I don't go together.  So I passed on the pain medicine but I did take the Xanax they offered me.  The pain only lasted a few seconds, and then it was all over.  Hydrocodone makes me sick and I thought it was a good trade off, a few seconds of pain for not being sick all the way home from Little Rock (which is a 2 hour drive for Santa).

I am stiff, which I was the last time I had an epidural, but I feel great otherwise.  No headache, no neck or arm pain.  Almost like a regular person again.  Praise the Lord!

That is why I am writing this blog post today, is to give thanks to God!  He was with me the whole day yesterday.  I love Him!!  I knew by skipping the Hydrocodone it would be uncomfortable, but He was with me the whole time and I didn't freak out over the blood either.

Jesus Heals Ten Men With Leprosy

Now on his way to Jerusalem,  Jesus traveled along the border between Samaria and Galilee.  As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy met him. They stood at a distance and called out in a loud voice, “Jesus, Master, have pity on us!”
When he saw them, he said, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were cleansed.
One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him—and he was a Samaritan.
Jesus asked, “Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?” Then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.”  Luke 17:11-19

Also (as you can see) I am trying out the Amazon Associates, I like the fact that I can choose which items to advertise.  This way I don't get stuck advertising something I don't agree with.  So enjoy!

  1. Okay I haven't been around to know why you went to Little Rock to have done whatever it was you had done, but I'm glad you weren't in pain, and I'm thankful that you had sense enough not to take something that would make you sick. Praise God for the whole situation that you came out like a trooper. Hugs!!!

Thanks so much for leaving a comment . . .I just love them!!
