Time

This weekend was a busy weekend for Mrs. Claus.  Our sleepover / shopping trip was a huge success (at least I thought it was) and then an unexpected trip to Shreveport with my kids was just like a bonus for me.  Then after church, and visiting a friend in the hospital I went with some of the ladies I work with to visitation for a friend who had lost her father over the weekend.

I could have been stressed out, yelling and running around trying to make sure everything got done, but I wasn't.  I didn't even stop to think that I might not be able to accomplish everything, or worry about the time.

Sometimes I think that God stretches time for us. I don't know what you believe but I believe that time is flexible and if anyone can stretch it, it would have to be God.

I am thankful to the God of everything who has plans for me.  When I am obedient to Him, I think He gives me the time I need.

Teach us to number our days,
that we may gain a heart of wisdom.

Psalm 90:12

Let me shout God's name with a praising song,
Let me tell his greatness in a prayer of thanks.

Psalm 69:30
I am thankful and deeply grateful that I was allowed the time needed to do all the things in my busy weekend.
