Happy Birthday, Mrs. Claus!!

Okay, okay!  I know I am a HUGE dork.  Reese's reminds me of it almost "daily". But I had to share my wonderful birthday with all of my wonderful followers.  My birthday, I didn't have to do a thing.  Whatever I wanted to do Santa was right there ready to go.  We went to Texarkana twice!

Reese's made me a birthday card!  She is so talented!!

My fabulous birthday gift was a 1TB external hard drive.  I love, LOVE, L.O.V.E. it!!!

I was able to clean up over 1/2 the space on my hard drive and barely made a dent in this huge drive.  I moved all my pictures off my drive and my photo editing software runs so much better now.

We also went to the movies and saw Secretariat.  It was really great!  I mean I have seen the footage of Secretariat winning the triple crown like a hundred times, and it was still so thrilling to watch it again.  If you don't know the story, you should definitely go check it out.

Growing up in Kentucky, and living in a sub-division called "Thoroughbred Acres" you can't help but know at least a little bit about horse racing.  I lived on Citation Avenue when I was growing up and when we moved in we were given a little horse statue with the name of the horse our street was named after and a little history about the horse.  Isn't that cute?  Secretariat hadn't won the triple crown yet when the subdivision was being built, but I'm pretty sure he had a street named for him in the "New Thoroughbred Acres" that was built later.

Santa built my Halloween costume (Can't wait for you guys to see it. . . . but not yet.) and helped me work on that most of the rest of the weekend.  I know I am spoiled rotten . . . he must really like me, huh?

It was just a great day!  Now I am 46!!  Wow, I've never been 46 before . . .it's my FIRST time!  I'm super excited to see what God has for me this year.

  1. Happy Birthday! Can't wait for the unveiling of the Halloween costume...

  2. You had quite the birthday. I am glad you love life and are living it to the fullest for our LORD. Isn't Jesus wonderful? Where have all the days gone since you were placed in my arms at 5:37 P.M. on October 2, 1964? I am going to love seeing the costumes this year. Love Mom JOLLY

Thanks so much for leaving a comment . . .I just love them!!
