Before and After is probably my FAVORITE part of editing.
This was my project for last night, to get some photographs of a bridesmaid by herself. The problem is she doesn't dress like a bridesmaid every day, so the shots of her at this wedding were the only ones I could try to use. There weren't any shots of this bridesmaid alone, or even with the bride by herself, so this was kind of tricky. Love these kinds of projects! (*smiles*)
This is the original shot. And of course the bridesmaid is in the back and the only part of her that is visible is her face. So I tell them, I don't know what I will be able to do, the bride's veil is almost covering her up. But here's what I have.
Lots of editing with Corel PhotoPaint, to get the bride and other bridesmaids out of the shot. More editing to get this bridesmaid to have a whole neck without the bride's veil. Then some LightRoom to provide a better black and white shot. And voila!
Here are some more shots that I "adjusted" to have a picture of this beautiful young lady all by herself.
This was the only shot of her by herself, not the best one. I'm just sayin'.
This one is fabulous, but with all these other people in the shot, not what they were looking for.
Something more like this?
Or this great smile? Not the best one of the groom, I don't even think this shot made the final cut.
How about this one? Wow!
