A miracle . . .

Well, we did shop in Shreveport earlier today and we had a great dinner with my BFF and her family.  Texas Roadhouse, jam packed with graduation parties and people everywhere.  This WAS the weekend for $1 flip flops at Old Navy, so we did make a stop in Old Navy.  We left to start shopping at 11:00 am and didn't get home until after 7:30 pm.

When we got home I saw some water in front of the porch by the front door.  So I went out side to check it out and I heard a hissing sound, like water leaking.  I couldn't believe all my flower beds were flooded and there was a fountain next to the garage side of the house.  There was water all across the front of our house.  Santa turned off the water main out by the mailbox and the most unbelievable part was that Santa called a plumber on a Saturday night and had everything fixed by 10:00 p.m.  THAT was a miracle!

Don't forget about the writing contest, now until Friday, May 28th.  Tell your friends and add the button to the post you want to enter.

  1. Ok yes the plumber story is a total miracle, and I'm so glad it ended well, that could have been very disasterous(sp?)! But I would say $1 flip flops are pretty much a miracle too!!!
I have no post worthy of an award. I am still struggling in my writing, holding so much back and afraid of my own words. Is that weird?
Thank you for all the great awards though. You truly are Mrs. Claus!
