Over at Pixel Perfect, Monica has another Before and After blog hop going, you should pop over and check out the other before and after shots. First SOOC (straight out of the camera) and then the same pictures after editing.
Last night I was at the office, killing time about 11:00 p.m. and found some pictures from Santa's cousin's wedding in Chicago. I was looking for a "Then and Now" pictures that I still want to upload, and cannot find them anywhere. ON THE WAY to finding those two pictures, I found some from this wedding. I saw this church and started playing with some different presets in LightRoom.
I wish I knew the name of this church, but this wedding was over five years ago. I did so many things to this photo, just playing around with my beta copy of LR, I don't know the steps, but the result is pretty cool.

It almost looks like it was taken from a different angle . . . that's one of the things I love about photography . . .editing.

ReplyDeleteNice edit and great picture!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photo and edit. I love architecture photography: the lines, the order, the capturing in time of something so beautiful. You did a wonderful job.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful picture and edit! I've just started playing around with LR too, and I never remember the settings I end up using. The edit really does look like it's from a different angle!
ReplyDeleteLove the angle. Awesome shot!!!
ReplyDelete. . . thanks for all the wonderful comments. I was reminded that after the wedding the bride was requesting photos from everyone who snapped pictures at the wedding. The "official" photographer (who btw had been snapping at all of us to turn off our flashes. . . psht!) lost ALL the film and there were NO PICTURES. OMgosh!
ReplyDeletei LOVE this. churches always are fabulous to shoot, from interesting angles to fun details. your shot is fantastic and the edit really works for it!!
