Don't let anyone under pressure to give in to evil say, "God is trying to trip me up." God is impervious to evil, and puts evil in no one's way. The temptation to give in to evil comes from us and only us. We have no one to blame but the leering, seducing flare-up of our own lust. Lust gets pregnant, and has a baby: sin! Sin grows up to adulthood, and becomes a real killer.
So, my very dear friends, don't get thrown off course. Every desirable and beneficial gift comes out of heaven. The gifts are rivers of light cascading down from the Father of Light. There is nothing deceitful in God, nothing two-faced, nothing fickle. He brought us to life using the true Word, showing us off as the crown of all his creatures. James 1:14-18
If something beneficial has come to you, no matter the source, THAT has come from God. If your family has been reunited, THAT is from God. If you have become closer in your walk with the Almighty God, THAT is what make Him happy. Don't worry about the methods that got you there. AND don't leave because the methods were not what you thought. God is who you want to have the relationship with, no matter the messenger.
It's just like, when someone has a car accident, and is compelled to face their own mortality. . . can we say because the car accident was horrible, the realization and yearning for God is not worth it? No, we embrace it as being from God, a wake up call from Him so that we can come back to Him. And whether the car accident was sent from God, or was a consequence of something else, the result is the same a restored relationship. A relationship with Jesus Christ is always worth it.
